Join us for an in-person presentation and construction site tour of the Roux Institute Learning and Research Center! 

The project consists of an 8-story, 245,000 square foot facility with learning, research and collaboration space. The project will transform the former B&M Baked Bean Factory site into a vibrant new campus for the Roux Institute at Northeastern University.

The complex structure features an inclined facade cantilevering towards the ocean, two cast-in-place concrete cores, steel braced frames and a Mass Timber wing. This presentation and tour will focus on the steel and Mass Timber superstructure.

This event will be at an active construction site; please bring appropriate PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, safety toed shoes). Attendees will be required to sign a waiver provided by the University in order to access the construction site.

1 PDH will be awarded for attendance after the site visit.
