Join us for a construction site tour of 89 Elm Street in Portland's Bayside neighborhood.
89 Elm Apartments, a new 201-unit affordable housing community in downtown Portland. The $87.8 million development aims to provide critical relief in one of Maine’s most competitive rental markets.
The eight-story structure is being constructed with panelized cold formed metal framing (CFMF) bearing walls, steel joists and cast-in-place concrete shear walls. Guiding the tour will be members of the structural EOR's design team and member of the design-build CFMF and floor design contractor.
Attendees will receive 1 PDH.
Following the site tour, the group will walk to a local watering hole for an optional social hour.
The tour will be at an active construction site. Members should bring proper PPE such as hard hats, protective shoes and protective eyewear.
